Full Job Description

The AV Specialist of Hybrid Events is a member of the Technology Department. The Specialist is responsible for assisting with the overseeing, planning, coordinating, and executing high-profile events for our lawyers, their clients, and Business Services Professional Teams., The Specialist of Hybrid Events is responsible for these key areas to support the Firm's and Technology strategies:

  • Coordinating technical requirements and managing project meetings for onsite/offsite high-profile events, while identifying resources, risks, and communicating expectations to stakeholders

  • Researching and arranging special technology or external services, ensuring all technical requirements are meeting schedule and budget

  • Overseeing technical meetings and rehearsals with contractors, and coordinating with hotel teams, site managers, vendors, and logistics teams for event setup

  • Providing regular updates to organisers and stakeholders on technical deliverables, changes, and pricing schedules, and resolving technical challenges before and during events

  • Inspecting vendor and contractor work before and after events, and coordinating support from technology specialists for scheduled events

  • Testing and providing feedback on new tech tools, and planning walk-throughs, training, and handovers for event setups

  • Attending professional development courses to enhance technical knowledge, identifying, and attending internal courses on communication and leadership, and leading project teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables, This role is based in London, and reports into the Senior Specialist, and Team Lead, Hybrid Events.


  • Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week. This role will also require flexibility to accommodate events during off-hours and/or weekends, with some requirement for travel.

  • 5+ years in AV event production, broadcast, post-production, and communications, with strong knowledge of photography, video editing, recording, audio routing, and lighting

  • Expert in web conferencing, webcasting, and meeting apps in live production

  • Skilled in AV switching, touch panels, advanced troubleshooting, and maintenance, with a strong understanding of audio/video protocols, Crestron, and DSP files

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, creative, agile under pressure, strong communicator, and highly organised

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and client service skills, able to interact with partners, stakeholders, clients, and technical teams
