(AW) Early Years Practitioner

We offer subsidised childcare for colleagues to be able to bring their children with them, high quality up-to-date training including using our software to electronically record your observations and updates. You'll have ample annual leave and time off to relax and recharge over the Christmas period.

A typical day in the role will include;

Being hands on and creative with messy and outdoor play activities

Helping with meals and snack times

Keeping records on children's progress and daily activities and adventures

Maintaining highest standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene

We are looking to welcome colleagues who are looking to take the next step in their early years career path. Whilst previous experience within a childcare setting is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for Early Years Practitioners who have a genuine love of children, warmth, patience and a great sense of humour! We will give you a great induction experience, training and development opportunities and you'll be learning on the job from leading practitioners in the industry!

Just like our children, our waiting list is growing! RAFAKidz Abbey Wood opened in January 2024 and we already have a phenomenal demand for children's places! As one of 16 settings in the RAFAKidz family, Abbey Wood currently has 35 staff and 83 children and every day, in each of our nurseries, we create experiences that are special, unique and child focused. Our staff are specially selected for their loving and caring nature, as well as their expertise. The needs of military families are unique, and at RAFAKidz we take extra care to make sure those needs are met.
