Here at Version 1, we are currently in the market for experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing Digital, Data & Cloud Practice. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology and worked on projects across a multiplicity of sectors and industries., Version 1 are one of a handful of AWS Premier Consulting Partners, which is the highest tier of AWS Partnership available. You will be working for the AWS Practice which consists of some of the best Architects, DevOps Engineers and Consultants. The customer engagements are varied and the exposure to cutting-edge technologies is always present. You will work in a mixture of teams to deliver solutions to some of the most high-profile customers in Europe. Version 1 invests in their people, and you will be encouraged to take Associate, Professional and Speciality certifications and additional training that is relevant to your role. We have a successful learning and development programme that will allow you the freedom to take on training and certifications on the training platform of your choice. The role is varied in scope and technology, and can entail the development of innovative solutions in the cloud, delivering cloud migration projects, and supporting development teams with DevOps technologies (CI/CD pipelines, config management, etc.) You will be responsible for:

  • Developing the AWS Platform using Terraform, building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working with AWS best practices
  • Helping Version 1 work on proposals with your technical skills
  • Use your expertise to provide some thought leadership

    You will have experience within the following:
  • AWS
  • At least one software development language (Python, Java, Go, NodeJS, .Net etc.)
  • Linux (RHEL, Centos) and Bash
  • Hashicorp products, such as Terraform, Packer, and Vault
  • DevOps tooling e.g. Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, AWS CI/CD services etc.
