Further information: We are seeking to appoint Personal Assistants to support the personal and social development of our 20-year-old son so that he can further develop his independence with a view to him joining the labour market in the future. He is a season pass holder at both Hull City and Hull FC. We are seeking personal assistants to provide support for 2-8 hours per week. Hours can be flexible. The successful applicants will be deeply caring and compassionate with an ability to communicate effectively, provide reassurance, encouragement and practical support so that our son develops his independence. A summary of the types of activities that our son would require support with are outlined below and will be agreed with the successful applicants based on their strengths or experience.

  • Providing support within volunteering opportunities or a work experience setting with a focus on developing employability skills. (2-3 hours per week)

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a substantial difference to the life of a vibrant and engaging young adult.
