Full Job Description

Further information: A Female Personal Assistant is required to support a lady in the HU8 area of Hull.

The PA will work closely with this lady and support her with various aspects of her daily life so that she can live the way she chooses. The successful candidate will also need to get on with other family members.

The PA will enable her to get out and meet new people and build new friendships, to maintain hobbies and interests like going swimming, going to gigs and the cinema. She is looking for a PA who can be a companion and have a shared interest in things like music, singing, walking and swimming.

The PA's main duties will be carried out at the lady's home address and out in the community. The PA will enable this lady to get out of the home independently of other family members, to maintain relationships with her family and friends, including supporting her with child care when needed.

She will also need some support with personal care, including support with dressing, washing and bathing; as well as carrying out household tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, meal preparation, shopping, organising paperwork and pet care, as I have two indoor cats, and going with me to appointments and hospital appointments.

The succesful applicant will be employed subject to a DBS check.

Important Information: "Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer."
