Full Job Description
A Personal Assistant is required for a 45-year-old lady with a learning disability in West Hull. She also has limited mobility and uses a wheelchair to get around. Because of this a car driver is essential who could also fit a wheelchair in the car.
The lady wants someone to assist her to go out socially to the shops and accompany her in the community.
She enjoys going to the cinema, theatre anywhere there are animals and where she can access arts and craft. the PA would need to help her to learn skills with cooking and light duties at home.
The Lady would like to attend an inclusive disco and likes shopping and going out for lunch/tea, particularly a carvery.
In addition, they should be honest, reliable, and good at communicating, tolerant and non-judgemental and able to build good relationships based on trust and respect. The hours of work are flexible, would mainly be weekdays and to be negotiated at interview.
