Full Job Description

We are looking for an Azure Developer to join the Frontier team, on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fully homebased role but there will be a requirement to attend sites when needed., Working closely with our Architects and Senior Engineers, you will leverage your technical skills to develop and deliver high-quality solutions that meet required specifications. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that solutions are aligned with business requirements.

  • You will work in collaboration with Engineering, Digital, and Core Systems onshore and offshore teams to deliver cross-functional projects, in addition to data-focused projects, through to production.
  • You will be an advocate for engineering excellence, following in-house standards and architectural principles to ensure that our data solutions meet the required standards for privacy, security, compliance, and regulation., As an Azure Developer your role will involve :
  • Delivering high-quality enterprise-level data solutions on Microsoft platforms.
  • Delivering all Azure technical components including configuration, deployment, and maintenance of databases
  • Participating in the development and maintenance of Data warehouses
  • Developing and deploying Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, SQL, reports, and automation
  • Collaborating with Architects and Senior Engineers to deliver LLDs to required technical designs and specifications.
  • Collaborating with the business to ensure solutions delivered meet business requirements.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Digital, and Core Systems teams to deliver cross-functional projects.
  • Contributing to Agile events, including Daily Stand-Ups, Backlog Refinement workshops, Retrospectives, and Demos.
  • Participating in code reviews.
  • Adhering to in-house engineering standards and architectural principles based on industry best practices.
  • Following in-house policies and procedures for Data Management, Governance, and Quality.
  • Creating technical documentation, wikis, and release notes as needed to support all stages of the Development Lifecycle.
  • Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance checks on data solutions prior to release.

    You will have 3+ years' experience with Azure configuration, development & deployment.
  • You will be familiar with iterative development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • You will have excellent communication skills.
