Full Job Description

Canon EMEA is looking for a Product Marketing and Business Development Senior Specialist to join our large marketing and sales department and lead and grow our strategy within the printing market, for A4 and A3 business inkjet and laser segment., Our teams are based at our state-of-the-art EMEA HQ in Uxbridge which is easily reached via the Elizabeth line, with subsidised restaurant, free parking and Costa coffee on site too!

What we ask

Market Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the inkjet & laser printer segment, especially A4 & A3 business printing area. Develop and refine value proposition and refine product roadmaps in alignment with market needs.

Product/Service Development Collaboration: Work closely with product/service development teams to provide market insights, influence product/service design, and ensure new offerings meet the evolving requirements of B2B customers.

Business Development: Prospect, identify, and cultivate strategic partnerships with B2B clients. Develop compelling value propositions to secure new business and expand Canon's inkjet printer footprint.

Sales Enablement: Support the creation and delivery of effective sales tools, presentations, and training materials that will empower sales teams to successfully position and sell our inkjet solutions.

Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing partners and clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth.

Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with sales and finance teams to establish competitive pricing models and maximize profitability within the inkjet printer category.

Performance Monitoring: Track sales data, market trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product offerings and business development initiatives

Print Subscription Development: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and implement a print subscription proposition that addresses the needs of target markets. Develop localized roll-out strategies for the markets to ensure successful market adoption and deployment,

Cross-business collaboration: Work closely with other business groups to align strategy on print across laser & inkjet.

Experience: Previous solid experience in B2B product management, sales, or business development within the technology industry. Experience in the printer or imaging sector is highly advantageous.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.

Technical Knowledge (desired): understanding of inkjet & laser printer technology, specifications, applications, and market trends, as well as fleet management solution & relevant printer technologies, such as MPS, BPS, SKD, MIB, etc

Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to analyse market data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver persuasive presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Negotiation Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to negotiate favourable terms and build win-win partnerships.

Self-driven: Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly to changing market conditions.

Salary: between £51,000 and £61,000 dependent on experience plus 10% bonus

This is a hybrid working role with 3 days in the office (Uxbridge) and 2 days working from home.

  • You will also maintain a deep understanding of inkjet and laser technology, necessary value propositions for B2B business printing customer, sales channels & route to market, especially for Western Europe area.

    In addition to a salary of between £51,000 - £61,000 you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%.
