Full Job Description

  • Identifying New Business Opportunities: Researching and identifying potential markets, clients, and partnerships.
  • Planning: Developing and implementing growth strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Sales and Marketing: Promoting the company's services, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Analysing market trends and competitors to inform business development strategies.
  • Leadership and Management: Coach and mentor the business development team to achieve and exceed targets and objectives. Role-model the Airband values ensuring they are meaningfully reflected in ways of working.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as marketing and operations to ensure cohesive business strategies.
  • Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations for senior management to track progress and inform decision-making.

    You will be dedicated in identifying new sales opportunities and propose the most appropriate solutions to ensure we can meet our client's business broadband needs with either Wireless or Fibre. Developing strong customer relationships will be at the heart the business development strategy ensuring we deliver a great Customer Experience and a "Right 1st time" approach. You will have the gravitas to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets and be committed and curious to be "One step ahead" of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Essential for the role:
  • Previous business development experience
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Commitment to delivering a great customer experience.
  • Prepared to travel and have a driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Desirable:
  • Previous Telecoms/IT/Utilities sector experience
  • Comfortable with change in a fast-paced sector

    This role is offered on a permanent basis, Salary £40,000 - £50,000 +Car allowance + Commission + Benefits Package.
