Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Nurse to join our busy Ophthalmology/ENT team at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals together with community clinics.
The post- holder will support Ophthalmic/ENT Unit.
The post-holder will be a key member of staff in participating in the improvement of care of patient attending the Ophthalmology/ENT Unit, 1. Participate in all department activities as an effective team member,
supporting the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse and Sister, taking
delegated team leadership responsibilities.
2. To assess care needs, and the development, implementation and
evaluation of programmes of care, in collaboration with the
multidisciplinary team.
3. To teach and supervise qualified and unqualified staff, and to act as a
role model to junior staff.
4. To take responsibility and accountability for a group of patients,
ensuring their journey is smooth and satisfactory for their needs.
5. To work across sites as per service requirement

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services, including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics, and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.
