Full Job Description

Woking Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) are looking for an experienced, qualified Mental Health Professional from a Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Social Work background with expertise in management of complex mental health problems, experience of managing and supervising junior colleagues to take on a leadership role within our friendly and hardworking team.You will be expected to provide visible clinical leadership to the team, deputising for the Service manager and working closely with other Senior clinical staff in the team to ensure the assessment of people using our service and delivery of high-quality treatment within evidence-based Care Pathways, being part of a multi- disciplinary team and providing clinical supervision.You will ensure the service operates in a safe, effective & efficient way as part of the whole system of Mental Health services across organisations in a time of change. You will work with closely with the Service Manager,
undertake management responsibilities as required and work ensuring key performance indicators are met for the team.

You will demonstrate a high level of commitment, motivation and knowledge of working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems., 1. Ensure that clinicians within own care area maintain a sensible workload, the needs of which can be safely met within the time available, through supervision.
2. Participate in and lead meetings as appropriate.
3. Report all complaints and/or incidents relating to patients, relatives and/or staff within area as directed in accordance with the Trust's Complaints Procedure, and ensure the Service Manager is informed. To co-operate with any investigations carried out.
4. Maintain and update statistical information and submit appropriate returns as required.
5. Deputise for the Service Manager as required in all areas detailed above.
6. Actively contribute to the development and review of Policies and Procedures based upon best practice/evidence to aid the development and efficient functioning of the CMHRS
7. Participate in the recruitment and selection of nursing staff for the service.
8. Participate in the appraisal, staff performance management and other monitoring systems used within the service area.
9. Promote the principles of Improving Working Lives amongst team members ensuring fairness and equity.

The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.
