Full Job Description

  • Plan, prepare and support the smooth running of a creative and playful curriculum with colleagues in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Conduct baseline assessments and age appropriate assessments based on children's individual development.
  • Support children's settling in visits, inductions, and room transitions.
  • Communicate with parents/carers about their child's development and keep them involved.
  • Support and mentor team members with their Continual Professional Development.

    Must be Childcare Level 3 qualified (Essential)
  • Experience working as a Room Leader (Desirable)
  • Good knowledge of EYFS (Essential)
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding (Essential)
  • Minimum 1 year room leader experience (Desirable)
  • Do something BIG, work with small children.

    We are looking for an experienced and qualified Baby Room Leader to work with a wonderful team based at family-run nursery in Hale, Altrincham, WA14. This is a full time post for 40 hours per week all year round with an annual salary of £26,000 (£12.50 p/h). The nursery has just been redesigned with brand new equipment and design! Come and make it yours. The nursery has an outstanding reputation in the local community and is in a prime location with excellent commuter links locally and ample shops nearby for lunch.
