We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Otford, Sevenoaks for a Baker to join the team at Accent from September
2024.

This is a part time position working 25 hours per week, from 9.30am to 2.30pm, or 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only
- so all the school holidays off!

The food offer is fresh food cooked from scratch so excellent culinary skills are required with a passion for giving children the
best possible lunch experience. You will be cooking for teachers and support staff. You will be working with a team of staff and
you will report to the Chef Manager.

To be successful in this role you will be:

• An absolute foodie with a chef background, this is a very-hands on role and you will be required to cook.



• Exceptional standards in all aspects of food service; attention to detail is vital



• Proven track record in a high volume, quality catering establishment and with pastry



• Innovative person with a positive out going disposition and a can-do approach


This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to
demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

This role would be suitable for a local person as the nearest station is 1/2 mile away or ideally no more than 10 minutes drive.
