Bakery Operative

A rare opportunity has become available for a number of permanent roles at our Barnsley site for Advanced Bakery Operatives to join the team on our automated slice line due to production requirements. You will be responsible for machine operations following standard operating procedures in a safe manner. Identifying defects and wokring alongside engineers to resolve issues. Identifying and suggesting improvements to your Team Manager. The successful candidate will:

• Follow site Health and Safety Policies e.g. Be safe, Hazard awareness.
• Working together as a team to ensure Line is Audit ready. Personal responsibility for own area. Clean as you go. Complete cleaning records.
• Follow Standard operating procedures, complete paperwork if applicable and work together as a team to meet the Production plan.

  To have the ability to understand Basic Health, Safety and Environment.
• Good level of Maths and English
• Physcially able to complete all required duties
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Previous experience operating machinery
