Bakery Production Chef

A fantastic opportunity and perfect role for a Bakery Production Chef looking to develop and grow.

At Restaurant Associates, We inspire great experiences at some of the UK's leading cultural and heritage destinations. From flat whites at fabulous art galleries to feeding hungry herbivores in some of the UK's leading zoos and sophisticated afternoon teas in Liberty London, we celebrate great food and delicious dining across our portfolio of venues.

This role will include:

• Creating new recipes for products such as breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods


• Measuring ingredients to create recipes and ensure that they are consistent each time they are made


• Communicating with other members of the foodservice team to ensure that orders are delivered on time and that production runs smoothly


• Maintaining clean work areas and equipment to prevent contamination and spoilage of food products


• Testing new recipes to improve taste or texture


• Planning menus based on seasonal availability of ingredients and customer preferences


• Be accountable for the management and delivery of budget food subsidy, including GP & labour costs
  
  Relevant bakery experience


• A wealth of knowledge within bakery


• A passion for food and service


• IT literate, numerate and able to communicate across cross discipline stakeholders
