Full Job Description

Once trained you will work closely with your team mates preparing the environment and equipment to make chemotherapy, adult TPN and antibiotics etc for patient administration., Band 2
+ To aseptically prepare products for patient administration. You will wear cleanroom clothing and be trained to work following strict clean room behaviours.
+ You will work within pharmaceutical clean air devices to prepare products such as Chemotherapy, Clinical Trials and Adult Parenteral Nutrition and must be able to follow standard operating procedures at all times.
+ You will assemble trays containing consumables and ingredients for 1st stage checks therefore must be accurate and be able to document information clearly and accurately.
The role involves some lifting, stretching, sitting for lengths of periods in restrictive clothing and cleaning of equipment following manual handling procedures.
Band 3
You will be responsible for adhering to all the competencies of a band 2 and:
+ Supervising production whilst maintaining GMP when preparing Clinical Trials, Chemotherapy, Adult PN, Antibiotics and Enzyme Replacement Treatments in clean air devices.
+ Assisting with physical and environmental monitoring schedules.
+ Cleaning of essential equipment
+ Accuracy checking volumes and processes during production
+ Assisting in the training of new staf

For a band 2 post No experience is necessary as full training is provided.
For band 3 you must have extensive experience in aseptics and have a, NVQ level II in pharmacy Manufacturing or equivalent
