Full Job Description

This role will provide efficient administrative support to the IPC team and support the IPC Data and Officer Manager to ensure collation of data for IPC reporting.
The role supports with the smooth running and efficiency of the IPC office and collates/inputs data for reporting.
The core hours for this role are 7.5 hours per day with a 30-minute break, Monday-Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.

  • Please note we are unable to sponsor for this role, This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Infection Prevention and Control team.

  • They will be confident processing large volumes of data and have the ability to minute meetings.
    They will need to be flexible in their daily tasks, supporting the clinical nurses where needed.

  • Provide general administration support and assistance to the Data and Office Manager.

  • Input of IPC organism data onto various data bases and spreadsheets, for uploading to the national data capture system.

  • Inputting of audit data onto databases/spreadsheets.

  • Update filing systems and support in the management of electronic filing systems.

  • Ensure minutes and meeting packs are prepared ready for planned meetings for DIPC/Deputy DIPC and wider IPC team.

  • Collate and format reports, policies, and other documents.

  • Prepare draft agendas and take minutes of team/trust internal meetings.

  • Administrative support for Surgical Site Surveillance and Vascular Access Nurse(s).

  • Photocopying, filing, and scanning documents.

  • Any other administrative tasks as requested by the Data and Administration Manager.
