Full Job Description

This role will include working as part of a team to create a happy, safe and stimulated environment for all children, aged up to 5 years of age and to meet the individual needs of the child.
To encourage children's development and assist in their learning.
To undertake domestic responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards and cleanliness and to adhere to all policies and procedures.
Always maintain confidentiality and be aware of Safeguarding procedures.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our established Day Nursery team for a part time 22.5hr per week apprentice role. The Little Explorers Day Nursery is within the grounds of Queens Hospital in Romford. We offer childcare and education for children from 3 months to 5 years of age. At our last OFSTED inspection, we gained a 'Good' rating.
You must have a proactive approach, good communication and organisational skills and be capable to work upon your own initiative. Candidates will be required to have good time keeping and show confidence and enthusiasm within the role. The Day Nursery is open from 7am until 6pm Monday to Friday.
Alongside the role you will complete the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. If you already hold a childcare qualification at level 3 or above, then you are not eligible to apply for this post.
