Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for pro-active, enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to join our innovative and successful Emergency Department. The successful applicant will work closely with the medical and nursing team on a day to day basis and will have daily, direct contact with patients and relatives. The post requires candidates to work shifts so the post holder needs to be flexible., To provide an efficient reception service to all patients and visitors attending the department and maintain a sensitive friendly approach.

Duties will include registering patients on a computer system and booking clinic appointments. Dealing with telephone queries, maintain confidentiality of records on the telephone and in person. Requesting patient records, scanning and filing patient notes. Other administration duties and clerical functions.

Only candidates who can demonstrate the relevant clerical and reception experience should apply. The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is absolutely essential.
