Full Job Description

The eRostering Team at UHB manage and maintain the electronic rostering system for all staff within the Trust., The purpose of this role will primarily be to create New Starters on the Healthroster system and update staff changes from information provided by line managers. Also, to create individual user accounts for all service users and reset passwords when requested following a standard process. To liaise with service users via email, telephone, video call and face to face as and when required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a team player who relishes a challenge and is keen to use their own initiative as well as work within a dedicated team.

We are looking for someone with a passion and drive for delivering an excellent service which ultimately ensures the best experience possible for our users.

You should exhibit a willingness to work flexibly across the week which may include some weekends or bank holidays. The team work a hybrid pattern working at home and on site each week. UHB is a multi site organisation and therefore the successful candidate would be expected to work across all sites as required., The ideal candidate will need to be motivated, possess good communication skills, have a logical mind and good eye for detail, possess good IT skills and have a thirst for knowledge and self- development.,

  • Good General Education (e.g. GCSE English and Maths A-C) or GCSE Level 9-4

  • NVQ Level 2 in business administration or similar or equivalent experience in an administrative environment through on-the-job training, Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Experience of using IT systems

  • Experience of working in a busy office / customer care environment

  • Understand confidentiality and apply the principles in every day working practice

  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of equality and diversity, Good communication / customer care skills both written and verbal demonstrating sympathy and compassion

  • Standard keyboard / IT skills

  • Good organisation skills and ability to multitask

  • Good time management skills

  • Ability to deal professionally with enquiries from staff, service users and stakeholders

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Ability to pay attention to detail where there are predictable interruptions to the work pattern

  • Ability to deal with stressful situations and sensitive issues

  • Work effectively and flexibly as part of a team to meet the needs of the services

  • Confident in dealing with people at all levels
