Full Job Description

The Runcorn Road Renal Dialysis Unit is a nurse led outpatient's facility, specially designed to provide high quality dialysis treatment in the community setting. The speciality is responsible for the provision of supporting the kidney patients on haemodialysis. As a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for participating and assisting in the delivery of care/services to patients, e.g., set up and maintain a safe area for dialysis, correct decontamination of equipment, preparation of haemodialysis machine, etc., The unit consists of 26 stations and operates 6 days a week; working a flexible 3 shift patterns (early, late and twilight). The Renal Department also consists of Hospital Units and at times the job will require some cross site work.

The role will provide you with an excellent development opportunity and role specific training will be provided; supported by a competency package, mentorship and Clinical Educators., The post holder works as part of the ward / department team under the supervision of registered nurses and:
