Full Job Description

Oxhey is a 12 bedded ward for elderly patients with dementia and/or a delirium, who may display changes in cognition and behaviour, which can be challenging. In view of this, applicants need to demonstrate empathy, patience and able to engage positively towards our patients., The role of the Housekeeper is to deliver aspects of catering, adhering to requirements of the Environmental Health Department, undertake and reporting of faulty/broken equipment.

The post holder will be expected to carry out auditing in line with Trust guidelines and to ensure that the ward is aclean and safe environment.

This post is part time working 25 hours per week; working hours will be 7.45am to 2.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
