Full Job Description

To undertake all operational RDP duties

Associated with the ordering/requisitioning receipt and temporary storage of goods and their subsequent distribution to end-users in accordance with agreed procedures and delivery schedules.

Working hours 6:00 - 20:00, 1. To receive, inspect and check all goods delivered to the RDP, reporting any discrepancies apparent from associated order copies and delivery receipt or documentation to be marked accordingly.

2. To accurately pick goods from shelves/racking at the RDP using authorised requisitions and suitable pack for issue to customers.

3. To undertake all duties to the required standards of cleanliness and security, observing fire precaution, Health and Safety at Work and transport legislation including the carrying out of daily vehicle checks and subsequent reporting of any defects to the immediate line manager.

4. To participate in training sessions, as arranged.
