Band 2 Nursing Assistant - Elective Surgery

If you join us you will have the opportunity to develop skills and experience in: Supporting the nursing staff on the ward with pre and post -operatively. Our patient group would be undergoing surgery with in the following specialities: Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, General Surgery, ENT, and maxillofacial surgeries. Assisting in the discharge planning for patients to facilitate safe transfer from hospital to home. Work alongside members of the multi-disciplinary team, including different teams ie theatre, recovery, and day surgery, administration teams. You will work as a part of the Multidisciplinary Team with additional support from our Clinical Practice Educator, and Nurse Specialists and ward managers.
