We have a 37.5 hour vacancy, this is a mobile position, therefore it is essential that you can drive and have access to a vehicle that can be used for work purposes as this role is mobile across our sites, business mileage will be paid in addition to salary. As a Rapid Response Mobile Domestic Assistant you will provide an effective, patient-focused Facilities Service (FM) in the delivery of cleaning and deep cleaning across our sites. All roles will provide a range of duties across our Trust sites and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors is delivered., Rapid Response Mobile Domestic Assistant Duties To clean to prescribed work schedules and rotas for designated areas, as specified To adhere to written procedures for check cleaning, damp dusting, damp mopping, full cleaning, periodic cleaning, spray cleaning and steam cleaning To adhere to the Trust colour coding system to prevent contamination To use cleaning equipment within designated areas in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 To ensure the correct economical use of materials and equipment, seeking advice from the Facilities Supervisor when in doubt To handle waste (including clinical and infected) in compliance with Trust policies and procedures To ensure the safe storage of all equipment and materials To report to the Facilities Supervisor any mechanical defects, any equipment in need of repair and any mishaps or untoward incidents To conform to the requirements for the cleaning of body fluid spillages in non-patient areas and implement as
required, Following the Infection Control Policy This role will require the individual to rotate between their responsibilities as required.
