Full Job Description
A great opportunity available for a Band 3 Admin Support to join our team based at St Michaels Hospital. The Band 3 Admin Support provides dedicated administrative support for the Locality Pathways Allocation service, working closely with Locality Pathway Allocation (LPA) Coordinator. The role will provide cover for the LPA and Triage services.
We are looking for someone who is friendly and approachable with great communication skills, who can build good working relationships within a fast-paced environment. As well as being a team player, we seek applicants who can demonstrate sensitivity/confidentiality due to the nature of the service and able to work autonomously with a flexible approach and strong work ethic to prioritise and multi-task. - Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C)
- Experience of working in a busy office / customer care environment
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Outlook) Desirable
- Good organisation skills and ability to multitask
- NHS Admin Experience
- Experience in using Carenotes or similar Electronic Patient Records System
- Understand confidentiality and apply the principles in every day working practice
- Ability to maintain relevant recording and information systems
- Excellent communication / customer care skills both written and verbal demonstrating sympathy and compassion
