Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a full time Booking Coordinator/Administrator to join our friendly team at University Hospitals Birmingham. The Pain Management service is provided across our four hospital sites however the successful candidate will be required to work across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Solihull Hospital., Dealing with bookings for both inpatient and outpatient appointments.

Dealing with inbound and outbound telephone calls.

Updating spreadsheets and our data tracking system.

Assisting with all administrative duties including updating patient records on the system.

Support colleagues with projects/tasks.

To assist colleagues as directed by the Supervisor/Line Manager in times of pressure of working.

An understanding of waiting lists and RTT (Referral to Treatment) is desirable. Previous experience of working in a similar NHS administrative role would be an advantage.
