Full Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 3 Laboratory Technician in Blood Sciences. This role is part of a team which provides an efficient and effective Blood Sciences services to two general hospitals (Southend University/Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital Trusts) and local GP community. You will be expected to work at Basildon Hospital , Southend Hospital and the Hub laboratory., As a Laboratory Technician you will be expected to be able to rotate through all areas of the Laboratories as required (Dependent on experience and training), to perform all designated duties in accordance with local working practices, to maintain high personal standards and conform to Health and Safety regulations. You will be be required to prepare and process clinical specimens for biomedical testing, within operating procedures and protocols.

SYNLAB UK & Ireland work closely with clinicians, hospitals, occupational health providers and clinical researchers to provide a complete pathology offering.

You will be required to work full time with a shift pattern which includes nights. Shift pattern:

08.00am to 20.00pm

20.00pm to 08.00am

09.00am to 17.30pm

08.00am to 16.30pm
