Full Job Description

To join our newly formed Peer Support Team, to provide a reliable, confidential administration service to support the Peer Support Lead and recruitment of wider team. Providing administrative support to team members, to be the 'focal point' for stakeholders, colleagues and partners, providing a support for the completion of tasks relating to the programme, receiving telephone calls and emails and relaying messages accurately, taking actions as appropriate and liaising with a wide range of professionals and outside agencies., Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • To undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties to support the work of the Peer Support Programme/ Hub.
  • Supporting the team in the successful delivery of varying projects which make up the programme
  • Link with stakeholders in the carrying out of administrative tasks
  • Arrange project meetings for team members
  • Support team members in diary management to assist the setting up of meetings
  • To undertake general administrative duties to assist the team in carrying out their duties
  • To provide cover for colleagues when required
  • Support leads in the delivery of engagement sessions, sending out invites, printing materials and putting together information packs
  • Support team members by accurately taking minutes of meetings and recording actions and distributing to group members
  • To support the team in raising orders where appropriate
  • Link with trust Programme Management Office (PMO) team to ensure regular reporting in line with the Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) requirements
  • Support the development of materials for the teams, leaflets, communication materials and presentations
  • Collate data and compile for presentations
