Full Job Description

The post holder will assist the Facilities Managers in the day to day running of the multi-skilled Facilities Department, ensuring effective utilisation of resources. The post holder will report to the Facilities Managers and will be assisting them in ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with National Standards. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the soft FM centralised information system: ensuring that all received data is captured within the management system, ensuring that accurate and fair reporting against National Standards is achieved and relevant policies, procedures and legislation are followed. The post holder will need to be enthusiastic and highly motivated with good communication, organisational skills and analytical approaches to problem solving. They will need to have experience in administrative work in a busy office environment, excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of MS Office are essential. Previous NHS Administrative, To support the Facilities Managers with the line management of the facilities staff (including HR processes, recruitment and selection, appraisals, mandatory training and compliance). To assist in ensuring staff adhere to Trust Infection Prevention Control (IPC) and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) policies in carrying out domestic services tasks. Assisting Facilities Management in Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) program, including the scheduling and data input of the assessments. Support investigations and complaints in accordance with the directorates governance/complaints guidelines Working knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations. The post holder will ensure accurate and open communication with a range of organisations and individuals. Responsible for communicating information which will involve persuading staff, managers and others on the importance of tasks and projects to complete Responsible for data entry, text processing and
storage of data compiled by other Facilities team members, patterns in line with our flexible working policy. For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6-month probationary period (see Probation Policy). All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.
