Full Job Description

To undertake the organisation and co-ordination of nursing students and Practice Assessors, liaising with co-ordinating universities, mentors, team and ward managers, ensuring all arrangements of the placement pathway are carried out efficiently and promptly using initiative to resolve problems. The post holder will contribute to the efficient operation of the student and mentor data systems through the accurate maintenance of records and data. To provide support to Practice Education Facilitators as well as administrative cover for the senior nursing team as required.,

  • Maintenance and update of the Databases and online platforms. Maintenance of the preceptorship database Scheduling of training and development Scheduling education audits Pre-placement administration (RiO; IT; MLE, ID check, e-roster) Booking of training with academic provider and, with PEF support, the development of new placements. Attend relevant meetings with Universities keeping relevant records Advertise and co-ordinate Return to Practice interviews Identify nurses undertaking preceptorship co-ordinate provision in preceptorship programme events .and send documentation to team manager. Collate and prepare student evaluation data. Maintain Statutory and Mandatory training reports Process CPD applications Populate Student, Assessor and preceptorship pages on Ourspace.
