Band 3 Rehabilitation Assistant

You will be joining an innovative and dedicated multidisciplinary team and be responsible for supporting the MDT in the delivery of therapy intervention following assessment. You will be seeing clients within our outpatient facilities, as well as in their homes or in the local community; supporting participation in a range of groups, carrying out treatment plans to support clients to achieve agreed goals. You will also support the team with relevant administrative support.

This position presents an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical skills within a healthcare setting and will provide you with an excellent opportunity to develop skills within neurological rehabilitation. The team provides a supportive environment to develop within and offers peer support from three other rehabilitation assistants. You will also be supervised and overseen by the highly skilled MDT.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with good general education to GCSE level (or equivalent), as well as previous experience of working with people in a health or social care setting. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work well in a team.

As this is a community based role, the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.
