Full Job Description

To support the Social Work Team by undertaking administration duties as requested, ensuring friendly and efficient communication and smooth running of the Team. You will work with: Social Work Team, Spiritual Care team and wider Patient and Family Support Team PFS managers and staff, including volunteers All other MDT staff who work alongside the team Patients and clients supported by the team External organisations frequently in communication with the social work team, The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and developing team administrative processes, taking calls and playing a key role in the smooth running of the team. You will gain experience and knowledge of palliative care services through excellent training, as well as support from your colleagues. Applicants should be excellent communicators and must have the ability to deal sensitively, compassionately and professionally with patients and carers using our service, as well as internal and external colleagues. St Peter's Hospice is a well-loved hospice that provides extensive inpatient and community services, in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Every year St Peter's Hospice makes a difference in the lives of thousands of patients and their families when it matters most.
