Full Job Description

Theatre support assistant to work in community-based Foot surgery operating theatre. We operate two days a week, with the remaining other days compiled of clinical and non-clinical work.

Delivering direct and indirect care as delegated under the direction and supervision of an appropriate registered health care professional.

Undertake specific duties involving direct and indirect care as identified by the clinical team to support the delivery of the effective healthcare of the patients.

Hours are 37.5 per week over 4 days. Two long days in theatre, Tuesday and Wednesday. Clinics are over 3 days, however, one allocated day off in the week., To assist with pre-operative assessment clinics, dressing clinics, theatre lists and telephone clinics.

Staff are also responsible for stock maintenance and ordering. Assisting with the maintenance of a clean and safe environment adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
