Full Job Description

As we grow and promote better patient care and experience, we are looking to recruit highly motivated and innovative Theatre Support Workers (TSW), who will embrace our exciting service developments, whilst providing the best care possible to our patients., We are looking to recruit Theatre Support Workers who will play an integral role at all stages of a patient's perioperative journey.

As a Theatre Support Worker, you will be a valuable part of the Theatre team.

As communication and basic numeracy are essential for this role, you will be required to successfully pass an assessment test as part of the selection process.

You will undertake the apprenticeship qualifications at Level 2 or 3 in Clinical Healthcare (Previously known as an NVQ).

We are recruiting for full time positions covering a 12-hour day, 5-day a week, shift pattern.

Posts involve working 3 long days with 1 week in 4 working a 4-day week.Shifts are 12 hours long (this includes an hour allocated for breaks).

Shifts start at 8:00am and finish at 9:00pm. Shifts will cover 5 days per week.

With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
