Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and methodical individual to join the Trust Finance Department to take up this full time 12 month fixed term position of Accounts Assistant (Treasury).

The successful candidate will be based within the Finance team at Regent Court and will primarily be responsible for the allocation of cash received within the financial ledgers and maintenance of the cashbooks across the trusts bank accounts and those of the subsidiary companies.

The main duties include:-

  • Allocation of cash received to the sales ledgers.


  • Maintaining the cash books across all bank accounts and organisation subsidiary companies.


  • Reconciliation of the cash positions on each of the bank accounts.


  • The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of working within a finance office, particularly within a cash allocation environment. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience of query resolution.

    The job requires GCSE's in Maths and English at Grades A
  • - C. The candidate would also be required to have a good working knowledge of IT particularly excel to an intermediate level whilst a background in double entry bookkeeping would also be required to effect ledger journals., Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a high level of numeracy, good IT literacy and a professional, proactive, flexible approach to work. Experience of planning and achieving tasks to tight deadlines will also be required.
