Full Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our clinical pharmacy team as a Ward Medicines Assistant on a 6-month fixed-term contract., To contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive ward pharmacy service.
Undertaking activities predominantly at ward level, but also within the pharmacy department, which contribute to the efficient and effective delivery of medicines to patients e.g. transfer of medicines, medicines supply, dispensing medication and the safe/secure storage of medicines.
You must have either successfully achieved the relevant units of pharmacy services skills NVQ level 2 (QCF) or the relevant units of a GPhC accredited training programme of equivalent level to pharmacy service skills NVQ level 2 (QCF).
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
