Full Job Description

We are excited to offer an Assistant Psychologist (Band 4) Full-time (37.5 hours) post within our Integrated Community Care and Recovery (ICCR) Services based at Zinnia Community Mental Health Team at the Zinnia Centre in Sparkhill, Birmingham. This is a fixed term contract for 23 months.

The post holders will have the opportunity to work closely with Psychological Services and MDT colleagues with service users who have complex interpersonal and emotional difficulties. This includes presentations of depression, anxiety disorders, ptsd, trauma, personality disorder diagnoses, psychosis, and dual diagnoses.

Successful applicants will have excellent opportunities to develop skills in clinical assessment, formulation and intervention as well as involvement in relevant auditing and evaluation of clinical services. There is an expectation that part of the job plan for all Assistant Psychologists will include supporting routine collection and reporting of evaluation data such as CORE. Clinical supervision will be provided.
