An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conscientious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Pathway navigator to join the Stroke department at Watford General Hospital.
To provide an efficient secretarial service to clinicians dealing with telephone enquiries from GPs, patients and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner.
To deal with telephone enquiries from GPs, patients and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner to ensure that appropriate messages are passed onto the relevant people in a timely fashion. To communicate highly sensitive information to patients / consultants. To ensure and maintain the efficient and effective administration of the Stroke service, cancelling and amending clinic lists following instruction from the clinicians, and ASM/ADM.
Experienced and committed, you will provide an efficient and comprehensive administrative service to the Consultants., With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.

The successful applicant should have a good general level of education with formal secretarial qualifications or at least two years' experience of working as a Medical Secretary and possess the essential qualifications outlined in the attached Person Specification.
