Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Dermatology Medical Secretaries. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who would like to make a positive impact to the department and to better patient care. The main tasks include typing letters, taking telephone queries and dealing with patient requests via telephone, updating clinic outcomes when required, liaising with the Dermatology Booking Team, folding letters and sending them out in the post, scanning, cancelling activity for Consultant leave and ad-hoc duties as required., We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen to join the Dermatology Secretary Team. This is a busy role in the Dermatology Department providing secretarial duties to the Consultants. This includes cancelling clinics, backfilling any last minute outpatient cancellations, ensuring that clinic outcomes are recorded correctly, and pathways are updated, audiotyping digital dictation, post, patient queries and ad-hoc duties.
