Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Urology Service as a band 4 Pathway Navigator, based at the Royal Free Hospital on a 12 month fixed term contract. We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual who will be responsible for managing and maintaining general urology, cancer and elective pathways. This involves but is not limited to: outpatient administration, RTT validation and liaising with patients. The successful applicant will have specific responsibility for the kidney cancer and benign pathways but will also need to demonstrate flexibility to support other Urology sub-specialities as required.

The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular you should have proven experience of working in a public/patient facing role and have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate would also need to have the ability to use their initiative and be able to problem solve in a busy clinical environment.

This is an exciting time to be working at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation one of the biggest NHS Trusts in the UK, delivering care to more than 1.6 million people a year through our three main hospitals: Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free.
