Band 5 / Band 6 Midwife - Acute unit

We are looking for midwives to join our hospital team at Hastings. You will have the opportunity to work within a variety of settings to provide women/birthing people with holistic and individualised care. Our consultant led unit at Conquest Hospital is based on the Hastings site., + The healthcare provider of first choice for the people of East Sussex.

You will need to be a highly motivated team player, committed to drive forward an innovative service with the existing team. Midwives with a commitment to provide safe, cohesive and collaborative working is essential.
We offer an excellent induction programme for all and full preceptorship programme for newly qualified midwives and a friendly, supportive and highly driven team to develop with for all experienced band 6's.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently and autonomously within the team is essential. You will gain experience in all aspects of midwifery care and will be supported to provide compassionate care.
