Day-to-day, you will provide assessment and therapy services as requested by the schools to a mixed paediatric caseload with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), as well as report writing and opportunities for training parents/carers and those working with children with SLCN. As well as working in mainstream schools, once established within the team, there may also be opportunities for working within one of many special schools and provisions with support. This would involve working withchildren with a variety of severe, additional and complex needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Difficulties, Developmental Language Disorder and Speech Disorders.
