Band 5 Pharmacy Technician

Dispense controlled drugs, keeping records according to departmental policy and legal requirements.

Organise and plan the supply of medicines to patients, wards and departments served by the Trust.

Develop and plan all section rotas and allocation of daily tasks as appropriate for all staff ensuring these are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Carry out the final checking of dispensed items. To ensure that the daily stock check is completed and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
