Ward 28 are currently hiring Band 5 registered staff nurses on the Tropical Medicine and Infection Unit
We are extremely passionate about getting it right for patients and their families and in order to achieve this we are looking to employ enthusiastic, motivated and compassionate band 5 registered nurse. As a member of our team, you will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary teams.
With any role within UHB, each post comes with the support of our team and managers. This is extended by support from our School of Nursing, AHPs and Midwifery. The School offers exciting opportunities for career growth and development, and our focus is on providing a supportive environment as part of your continuing professional development., The post holder will practice autonomously and be responsible and accountable for safe, compassionate person centred evidence based nursing that respects and maintains dignity and human rights. They will be responsible for assessment of care needs of patients and planning programmes of care, implementation and the evaluation of these programmes without direct supervision. At times they will have management responsibility for being in charge of the ward/department and supervising junior members of staff.
The post holder will practice in a holistic, non-judgmental, caring and compassionate manner that avoids assumptions, supports social inclusion and recognises and respects individual choice and acknowledges diversity. They will work in partnership with other health and social care professionals, students and trainees and agencies, service users, their carers and families. The post holder will contribute to the practice development within their clinical care setting and work in accordance with Trust Policies, Procedures and Guidelines and will be responsible for completing any work based training associated with the role.
