Perhaps a future is awaiting you within the medical retina service supporting Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Macular Oedema, as a nurse injector., Positions for Band 5 Staff Nurses are available at the Prince Charles Eye Unit which is a stand-alone surgical unit within Windsor. This friendly unit is very supportive and proactive towards staff training and development. Although the positions available are within Outpatients, the nursing team does rotate around the department which provides variety to the working week and supports extension of professional skills. Informal visits to view the unit and meet some staff are always welcome., You will be responsible for undertaking and recording comprehensive nursing assessment and planning, delivering and evaluating high standards of evidenced-based nursing care to a diverse group of patients. Deliver care without direct supervision and be accountable for the care delivered and any omissions of care. Teach and supervise more junior staff, students and the non-registered nursing workforce. Be accountable for care or any omissions of care that you delegate to others. Act as role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Current NMC registration
- Evidence of recent continuous professional development, Experience (through placement or employment) of working in an acute clinical environment, Ophthalmic Knowledge/Experience, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
