Full Job Description

This role will suit a hard-working, ambitious and high-performing individual with the passion and experience to support the successful administration and coordination of the COO's Office. The post holder will provide visible, proactive and systematic support to the Chief Operating Officer and senior operational team in a fast-paced environment. This role is full time and office based. There can be flexibility with start and finishing times, 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm.

  • Please note - we are unable to obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship (Work Permit) for this role.Main duties of the job You will be central to the effective running of our hospitals in your support to the COO, leading on projects, planning and organising diary commitments, preparing key reports and papers, administering key meetings and being the main point of contact for hospital operations. Working with minimal supervision on specific projects and work streams to contribute to the delivery of the Trust's objectives. You will be a key member of the Corporate Team, with considerable freedom to act autonomously to ultimately free the director to focus on their own roles. To achieve this, the post holder will apply excellent judgement, discretion and initiative, combined with excellent organisational, prioritisation and analytical skills. You will also offer effective day-to-day management of the director's office, which will involve complex in-box and diary management, secretariat and other administration support as required.
