Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Ward 14 Children's Ward at the Leicester Royal Infirmary to cover our Clinical Skills Facilitator role as a secondment for 12 months. This is a really friendly team who pride themselves in offering a high standard of care to the patients and families who are admitted. Ward 14 is a paediatricgeneral medical ward with a metabolic specialty. The ward cares for children and young people aged 0-18 years old. You will be responsible for developing and delivering teaching packages to all staff within the ward, Supporting staff in clinical areas to achieve competence and helping to develop the workforce.Main duties of the job You will be expected to work a clinical shift each week to maintain your high standard of skill and knowledge. You will need to be motivated, dynamic and have a passion for education within the clinical environment. You will be an excellent communicator who is able to quickly build key relationships. We believe that supporting our staff to grow and develop enables us to provide excellent patient care. You will assist with fostering this culture and play a key role in helping our staff and students to flourish.
