Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our evening service district nursing team based at Priestley Wharf. The hours worked are between 5.30pm and 10:30pm covering 7 evenings a week, on a rota basis (working 4-5 evenings a week, up to a 25hour contract).

The post holder will be expected to work multi professionally, support other team member's roles and contribute to the future development of the service.

As a Senior nurse you will be able to demonstrate good leadership skills, the ability to manage change in clinical practice and processes. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to independently make sound clinical and leadership judgements and regularly supervise the workload of junior colleagues.

We are looking for people who are innovative, forward thinking, flexible and have strong leadership qualities. The candidate will have both clinical and operational responsibilities and an element of the role will be triaging and co-ordinating the shift. You must be able to confidently triage and prioritise referrals and delegate to junior members of staff.

As part of your role there may be an expectation to work across the city on occasions, so candidates must be flexible.

Qualifications/ Experience required:Registered General Nurse with evidence of Community Experience essential.
