Full Job Description
A Vacancy at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
To assist the manager in the provision of clinical leadership and to be a clinical role model to the 24-hour inpatient team. To act on behalf of and deputise as directed by the manager in their absence and provide quality evidence-based nursing advice support and care for service users with mental health needs and their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.
Working in conjunction with the Manager to set, maintain and audit clinical standards in adherence to local and national priorities. We are looking to appoint 1 Deputy Ward on George Ward
Applicants must be Registered Mental Health Nurses able to work in a challenging, dynamic and recovery focused environment.
You will need to demonstrate a range of skills including the following
Effective leadership
Staff supervision and appraisals,
Rota management ,
Effective communication, integrity, empathy, self-awareness, compassion and critical self-reflection
Clinical skills which reflect your understanding of the Mental Health Act and the frameworks, policies and procedures governing our service.
